Wiregrass band marches into Pasco history

The Wiregrass Ranch High School made Pasco County history by bringing home the first place prize in Class 4A in the Florida Marching Band Championships, on Nov. 23. Measure intended to improve flow on Bruce B. Downs

Pasco County is making improvements on Bruce B. Downs Boulevard, at the intersection of State Road 54, in Wesley Chapel, to enhance traffic flow and safety. The county is extending the length of the farthest left-hand turning lane, to accommodate more cars waiting to turn west onto State Road 54. While the Wesley Chapel Cadet Squadron is affiliated with aviation, its their performance on ground that has granted them national accolades. New interchange expected to ease traffic on area roads

Plans are underway to build an interchange connecting Overpass Road to Interstate 75 in Wesley Chapel, and the project is expected to have a flyover ramp.
