Crews busy building schools in Pasco

Wiregrass Elementary School is set to open this fall in Wesley Chapel. Construction is well under way on a new high school on Old Pasco Road, which will open initially as a high school and a middle school. That campus is expected to open in 2017-2018. Wildlife corridors on hold, again

A plan to establish and protect wildlife corridors met another delay in its 15-year journey from a lawsuit settlement to approval from the Pasco County Commission. A mandated but long-delayed ordinance to create wildlife corridors is again winding its way through public meetings, hearings and possible adoption by the Pasco County Commission.
