It’s ‘bug’ season in Dade City

The Pasco County Fairgrounds will soon see a swarm of ‘bugs’ outside – Volkswagen Beetles, that is. The Rattlesnake Festival, a community tradition for more than a half-century, has moved to a new locale — the Pasco County Fairgrounds. Pasco County is close to rolling out the welcome mat to food trucks as a dining option. Pasco could ease ban on digital signs for tourist venues

Pasco County is getting ready to ease a ban on digital signs, but will retain strict limits. The Pasco County Commission reviewed a proposal on Jan. 9 that would allow digital signs for “regional attractors” that hold a minimum of 50 tourist-related events a year.
