Local donors help propel playground development

A new playground designed to be welcoming for children with disabilities is planned for Wesley Chapel District Park, and the project got a big boost from some local donors. Suggestions wanted for Burks playground improvements

Dade City’s John S. Burks Memorial Park playground will be undergoing remodeling, and Pasco County wants its residents to have a say on ways to improve the play space. Connerton, county and school board agree to land swap

Pasco County, the school district of Pasco County and Pasco Investment Land LLC have agreed to a land swap in connection with a county district park in Connerton. Partial closure of Suncoast Trail for repairs

Part of the Suncoast Trail will be closed from Feb. 27 through March 9 for repairs and resurfacing, according to a news release from Pasco County. The 42-mile trail winds through Hillsborough, Pasco and Hernando counties. The largest segment of nearly 22 miles is in Pasco.
