Pasco County is putting its sports and recreation offerings front and center, in a strategy aimed at boosting tourism. Pasco tourism ‘booming,’ officials say

Tourism is “booming” in Pasco County and shows little signs of slowing down. Pasco projects win big in 2019 state budget

Gov. Rick Scott signed off on an $88.7 billion state budget for fiscal year 2019, and had a light touch with his veto pen. He cut about $64 million in contrast to the $410 million that was axed from the previous year’s $82.4 billion budget. Zephyrhills sets tax rate, presents draft budget

For the third straight year, the property tax rate will stay the same in Zephyrhills. The Zephyrhills City Council voted to set the tentative millage rate at 6.35 mills.
