State Road 56 extension moving forward

Construction on the State Road 56 extension is on track for its scheduled completion in late 2019, according to Florida Department of Transportation officials. The approximately 6-mile extension will give motorists a new four-lane route between Wesley Chapel and Zephyrhills. Work began in February 2017.
