United Way of Hernando County will host a free dementia care seminar for families and professional caregivers on May 17, from 9:30 a.m. to noon at the Brooksville Wesleyan Church, 22319 Cortez Blvd., Brooksville.
The guest speakers will be Gary LeBlanc, a local author and caregiver; Linda Burhans, national speaker on caregiver advocacy; and Andrea Read, Acti-Kare Responsive In-Home Care dementia specialist.
Participants can learn helpful tips and hear motivating stories.
