Hillsborough County is looking for nominations for its annual Neighborhood Recognition Awards. The program acknowledges neighborhood organizations that are active in civic affairs and work collectively to improve and enrich their communities, and the lives of their residents. The deadline for nominations is 5 p.m., on July 8. Several categories are available. Applicants or nominees must be neighborhood, homeowner, or civic associations, or crime watch groups within Hillsborough County or the cities of Tampa, Temple Terrace or Plant City.
