HCA Florida Trinity Hospital, 9330 State Road 54 in Trinity, will present a seminar on GERD (gastroesophageal reflux disease) on June 14 at noon. General surgeon Dr. Jamii St. Julien will discuss the common causes, symptoms and treatments of mild to severe GERD. The presentation also will cover the newest minimally invasive surgical treatments, including a small flexible band designed to restore the body’s natural barrier to reflux in patients with GERD.
