Hope Services, a vocational service provider for those with disabilities, will host a Zombie 5K and Kids 1K Fun Run on Oct. 28 at 7 a.m., at Tampa Premium Outlets, 2300 Grand Cypress Drive, in Lutz.
The run will see zombies (dressed-up high school students) chasing runners through the course, as the event is aimed to raise awareness of the services offered at the nonprofit’s new Life Skills and Vocational Training Center in Land O’ Lakes. Proceeds will benefit a scholarship fund to provide services to those struggling or who cannot afford courses offered at Hope Services.
Cost is $35 for runners and $20 for the Kids Fun Run. The cost includes a T-shirt, medal and admission to the Wesley Chapel Fall Festival.
