17th Annual 5K Reindeer Run

Lake Jovita will host its 17th Annual 5K Reindeer Run on Dec. 2 at 8 a.m., with registration at the community’s fitness center, 12900 Lake Jovita Blvd., Dade City. Cost is $20 per runner, with proceeds benefitting Sunrise of Pasco Domestic & Sexual Violence Center. The run is held on the golf course at Lake Jovita, with the route taking runners through woods and over bridges. The run will be on the cart path, so it is a stroller-friendly race. Walking entrants are welcome. All participants will receive special reindeer medals. There will also be raffles items and costumes are encouraged.
