The Alliance for Healthy Communities and Pasco ASAP (Alliance for Substance Addiction Prevention) will host their annual brunch on Dec. 12 from 10 a.m. to noon, at Hilton Garden Inn Suncoast, 2155 Northpointe Parkway in Lutz. The keynote speaker will be Tony Hoffman, former BMX pro, U.S. Olympic coach, recovering addict and author of the book “Coming Clean.” Hoffman also is the founder and director of The Freewheel Project, a nonprofit that mentors youth via BMX, skateboarding and after-school programs.
