New at the Museum of Science and Industry
The Museum of Science and Industry (MOSI), 4801 E. Fowler Ave., in Tampa, now has two new experiences.
- Toothpick World’s “Wooden Wonders of the World,” includes structures of engineering, design and architecture by Stan Munro, a self-taught “toothpick engineer” from New York. Models take visitors through a global journey of engineering, while inspiring the architect and designer within. Many tall buildings, including the Washington Monument, will be on display. The exhibit runs through May 29.
- SciLinx! is a science-based putt-putt golf experience in MOSI’s outdoor Science Park. Golfers and scientists alike can learn science facts as they navigate the course. This is a permanent exhibit and the cost is $5.
