Help Bexley Celebrate Its 3rd Birthday!

October 30, 2019 By Special to The Laker/Lutz News

Milestones are worth celebrating. In November, Bexley by Newland rings in being a part of the Pasco Community for the past three years!

A lot has happened in that short period of time. Not only has Bexley earned accolades from Real Estate advising group, RCLCO, has the top-selling community in Tampa Bay and one of the top 50 in the U.S., it also has been honored with a host of national and regional awards.

As Bexley has grown up, it has become a vibrant, planned community. Families don’t have to travel very far to enjoy Bexley’s outstanding amenities, which include resort-style pools, parks, fitness center, café, bike shop, BMX track, and miles of multi-purpose trails.

Residents often share that what makes Bexley so unique is the close-knit, family feel they just haven’t experienced elsewhere.

“Bexley is growing into the community we envisioned,” said Pam Parisi, vice president of marketing for Newland. “It’s truly a special place and offers something for everyone, especially those who are looking for an active, outdoor lifestyle, and greater connections with each other. It’s a wonderful community to be a part of, whether you’re a family with kids, buying your first home, or looking to downsize.”

Outstanding Schools
Bexley Elementary School opened within the community in the Fall of 2017 on 18 acres donated by Newland.

The schools zoned for Bexley residents — Bexley Elementary, Rushe Middle School and Sunlake High School — are all A-rated by the State of Florida. Imagine School at Land O’ Lakes, a charter school just minutes from Bexley, also has earned top marks.

Top-Notch New Builders
This year, Bexley added two new partners to its outstanding list of homebuilders. Arthur Rutenberg Homes and Pulte Homes join Cardel Homes, David Weekley Homes, Homes by WestBay, and Lennar in offering a wide variety of single-family and luxury homes in the community.

Custom homebuilder Arthur Rutenberg recently opened its Avalon model home at Bexley. Rutenberg homebuyers can choose from 19 different floor plans that were created just for the community. Pulte, one of the nation’s largest homebuilders, offers three flexible home designs located near Bexley Elementary. Pulte’s homes allow for personalization and feature the company’s 10-year protection plan warranty.

A New Vision for a 55+ Community
Pulte is no stranger to Bexley. Last year, the company opened its Del Webb at Bexley 55+ active adult neighborhood near the intersection of Sunlake Boulevard and Tower Road. Pre-sales for the community’s second phase of low-maintenance homes are expected very soon, with its sales center already open. Del Webb at Bexley’s expansive 17,000-square-foot clubhouse is on track to open in early 2020.

Nearby Community Comforts
Bexley residents enjoy all the comforts they need in a growing town. The community has attracted nearby conveniences, such as the AdventHealth Emergency Department, a SpringHill Suites hotel, and a RaceTrac gas station and convenience store. Additional dining and retail areas are also in the works.

In three short years, Bexley has earned many honors, but the best acclaim is from the hundreds of families who now call Bexley home, and are busy making memories that they will cherish for a lifetime.

Bexley Is Top-Selling Community In Tampa Bay

August 28, 2019 By Special to The Laker/Lutz News

Prospective homebuyers don’t have to travel far to experience one of the country’s best master-planned communities. Real estate advising group, RCLCO, has named Bexley by Newland the top-selling master-planned community in Tampa Bay, and one of the top 50 in the United States, in its annual survey.

At Bexley, home sales are up more than 45 percent at the mid-year mark this year, compared to the same time last year. That is in comparison to a national average increase of 3%, according to the survey.

“It’s always rewarding to see our community plans come to life,” said Pam Parisi, vice president of marketing for Newland. “Becoming the best-selling community in Tampa Bay is part strategic planning, part providing home designs for a range of buyers, and part incredible word-of-mouth from our Bexley families who are constantly sharing their pride in this great community.”

Bexley offers a variety of floor plans from low-maintenance townhomes, to one- and two-story single-family starting in the mid $200,000s, as well as luxury homes, from some of the best-known builders in the country.

Homebuyers can tour 11 models at Bexley, built by Cardel Homes, David Weekley Homes, Lennar, Homes by West Bay and Arthur Rutenberg Homes. Pulte will soon join the community’s list of builders, with the opening of its model home later this year. Del Webb Bexley, a 55-plus community, also offers an additional six model homes to tour.

Located in Land O’ Lakes along the in-demand State Road 54 corridor, Bexley provides a prime location convenient to many of the area’s diverse attractions.

At the heart of the award-winning community is The Bexley Club, where people enjoy scenic lakefront views at the Twisted Sprocket Café. The restaurant is open to the public for breakfast, lunch and happy hour, and offers an outstanding menu of breakfast items, gourmet lunches, desserts, smoothies, wine, craft beer and coffee drinks.

Next door to the clubhouse, Suncoast Trailside Bicycles sells a variety of bikes, gear and clothing, and offers repairs and rentals. If you’re looking to cycle around the community or hit the Bexley BMX pump track, you’ll find everything you need at this one-stop shop.

Two additional buildings make up The Bexley Club: a cardio-focused fitness center and a screened-in game room with air hockey, foosball and a pool table. There are also two resort-style pools, an outdoor fire pit and an event lawn.

Bexley was designed so that residents can enjoy the great outdoors. The community is home to miles of multi-surface Avid™ trails, ideal for walking, biking, jogging and strollers. Along the way, residents can utilize several Fit Stations, which add fun and variety to workouts.

Several community parks dot the landscape at Bexley. Sports lovers of all ages use Mud, Sweat and Gears Park for impromptu soccer or football games, and younger kids spend hours on the custom-built wonderland designed by Asheville Playgrounds. Dogs and their owners enjoy the BarkYard, a park to call their own with separate spaces for big and small dogs.

Best of all, Bexley offers an exclusive Resident for a Day program, which gives potential residents a chance to experience the amenities, trails and café first-hand. To learn more, visit BexleyFlorida.com, or call (813) 425-7555.

Enjoy Lake Padgett With A Waterfront Cardel Home

April 24, 2019 By Special to The Laker/Lutz News

There are more lakes in Land O’ Lakes than anywhere else in Tampa Bay. And, one of the area’s most desirable is Lake Padgett, a spring-fed, 200-acre lake that is home to an exclusive Cardel Homes community.

Cardel is the newest homebuilder on Lake Padgett, which has been home to beautiful waterfront homes for over 50 years because of its peaceful cypress-lined shores, and stunning sunrises and sunsets.

Lake Padgett families enjoy boating, fishing, water skiing, paddle-boarding, canoeing and kayaking. And, today, they can also enjoy boating to lakeside destinations.

Just south of Cardel’s community, The Enclave At Lake Padgett on the lake’s western shore, are fun boating destinations that have opened in the past few years.

This includes The Tiki Cove, which has a dock for boaters to tie up to, live music and beach volleyball games on the weekends.

Even closer to The Enclave is another waterfront destination, In The Loop Brewery, where boaters anchor close to the beach and planning for a dock is underway. This popular local spot has an on-site brewery, tap and tasting room, and a huge outdoor deck and beer garden overlooking the lake.

“Most lakeside communities offer homeowners traditional waterfront views and boating, but living on Lake Padgett offers even more, because it has destinations you can easily boat to,” said Brian Phillips, vice president of sales and marketing at Cardel Homes.

There are only a handful of  homesites remaining on the lake, which is why Phillips is so excited about The Enclave At Lake Padgett.

“It’s almost unheard of to find new home construction on Lake Padgett. It’s exciting as a builder to be offering such beautiful, large lots in such a premium location,” said Phillips.

Many people who discover The Enclave At Lake Padgett say it’s one of the best kept secrets in Land O’ Lakes.

“Part of this community’s intrigue is that one would never expect to find such a gem tucked away in the heart of Land O’ Lakes,” said Phillips.

Conveniently located off Land O’ Lakes Boulevard (U.S. 41),  just two miles north of State Road 54,  the secluded entrance to The Enclave assures residents of privacy that they will share with just a handful of other homeowners.

All of The Enclave’s homesites can be permitted for docks that are large enough for fishing, waterski and pontoon boats. And, unlike other developments on Lake Padgett, none of its docks are shared between homeowners.

“This prestigious community has just eight large homesites available — all very private and with no CDD fees,” said Phillips.

In addition to its waterfront living, The Enclave is just 15 minutes from Wesley Chapel’s shopping and dining destinations, including Tampa Premium Outlets, The Shops of Wiregrass and the newly opened Cypress Creek Town Center.

Cardel Homes is offering three, one-story plans at The Enclave, all with tile roofs and brick paver driveways as standard features. Homes range from 3,000 to 4,260 square feet, and offer four bedrooms, three or four baths and three-car garages.

The St. Lucia model home is ready now for a quick move-in. This stunning home is 3,336 square feet with four bedrooms, three baths, and a large front porch and covered lanai.

The home is on a wooded lot, and has a large front porch and covered lanai in the back. An oversized dock is just steps away from the backyard, and is perfect to dock a boat and enjoy the natural setting.

The St. Lucia inventory home, including its waterfront dock, is listed at just $650,000. If you prefer to choose your homesite and select a floor plan, colors and finishes, a Cardel home in The Enclave begins at $494,900.

“The Enclave At Lake Padgett is a perfect community for families wanting to move up to an exclusive, private, lakefront community with no CDD,” said Phillips. “It offers the best of both worlds —all the recreation and things to do on Lake Padgett, with the convenience of being close to so many shopping and dining options.”

Cardel Homes Earns 3 Top Parade Awards

March 27, 2019 By Special to The Laker/Lutz News

Cardel Homes was recognized at the 2019 Tampa Bay Parade of Homes with three prestigious awards, including a top level “Best In Class.”

The builder took the two top honors for homes in the $750,000 and $799,000 class for its models at Bexley. The Grand Award went to its Savannah model, and the Silver Award to its Henley model.

Cardel Homes’ “Best In Class” designation was received for its Master Suite & Bath in its Savannah model at Bexley.

“We’re excited and proud to be recognized as one of the top builders in this year’s Parade of Homes,” said Brian Phillips, vice president of sales and marketing at Cardel Homes. “These awards are evidence that our homes’ thoughtful floor plans and unique design features truly set us apart from other builders.”

Cardel Homes is one of few builders to offer communities of all sizes and price points — from move-up developments like Bexley with its many active lifestyle amenities, to the Enclave at Lake Padgett and Oakwood Reserve, with their acre lots, pristine privacy and luxury custom features.

Bexley
Cardel Homes is a premier builder at Bexley — a master-planned community by Newland along the State Road 54 corridor in Land O’ Lakes. It encompasses 1,200 acres of preserved wilderness and 13 miles of breathtaking trails.

The Henley floor plan is a two-story, four-bedroom home with more than 3,900 square feet of living space. Its four-bedroom Savannah plan features three baths and more than 3,300 square feet of living space in a single-story design. Both models are beautifully decorated and have three-car garages.

Cardel Homes has been building in Bexley since the community opened in 2016, and recently expanded into Phase 2A, with beautiful lots and floor plans beginning in the upper $300s. Two quick inventory homes are available in this new phase, as well as the St. Lucia model home in Bexley’s first phase.

The Enclave At Lake Padgett
There are only a handful of lots remaining on Lake Padgett, which is why Cardel Homes is so excited to be building homes in the Enclave At Lake Padgett.

This secluded, gated community of just 18 homes is conveniently located off U.S. 41 in Land O’ Lakes, just two miles north of State Road 54. All homesites back up to a natural lagoon that flows into Lake Padgett, and all lots can be permitted for docks that are large enough for fishing, waterski and pontoon boats.

“We have eight large homesites remaining — all very private and perfect for families wanting a waterfront home with no CDD fees,” said Phillips.

Cardel Homes is offering three, one-story plans at the Enclave, all with tile roofs and brick paver driveways as standard features. Homes range from 3,000 to 3,308 square feet, and offer four bedrooms, three or four baths and three-car garages.

The St. Lucia model home is ready now for a quick move-in. This stunning home is 3,336 square feet with four bedrooms, three baths, and a large front porch and covered lanai. An oversized dock is perfect to dock a boat and enjoy the natural backyard setting.

Oakwood Reserve
If you’re looking for a new home in Hillsborough County that’s close to USF, Oakwood Reserve may be the perfect community for you.

Only five lots remain in this exclusive community of 1-acre homesites on Clement Road  — a quiet, rural street tucked between Hannah Road and Livingston Avenue. Oakwood Reserve is just 25 minutes to downtown Tampa, and minutes from Moffitt Cancer Center, James A. Haley Veterans’ Hospital and AdventHealth Tampa.

This rural community has lots ranging from 1 acre to 1.55 acres with magnificent mature trees. Two homesites have already been sold, and an inventory home is under construction and will be ready in May.

“Our first two buyers are young professionals who love the location and wanted a small community with no CDD or HOA fees,” said Phillips.

Homes in Oakwood Reserve begin at $447,990, and range from 2,507 square feet to 3,939 square feet. All have four to five bedrooms, three to four baths and three-car garages.

Cardel Homes’ models are open Mondays through Saturday between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m., and Sundays from noon to 6 p.m.

February 27, 2019 By Special to The Laker/Lutz News

It is estimated that homebuyers visit 10 homes before they find “The One.” Potential buyers will have a chance to walk through dozens of model homes at the annual Tampa Bay Parade of Homes, which is being held the first two weekends in March.

This year, Bexley by Newland Communities will play a prominent role as the featured Showcase Community. Seven models representing three of Bexley’s award-winning builders will be on display during this popular two-weekend event.

“We’re honored to be this year’s Showcase Community, and to have the opportunity to show potential homebuyers what the Bexley lifestyle has to offer,” said Pam Parisi, vice president of marketing for Newland Communities, developer of Bexley.

The Bexley Club is a popular meeting place for residents and the surrounding community.

The Parade of Homes is an exceptional time to see the floor plans, interior designs and architecture of model homes, which are also judged by a panel of industry experts.

Featured homes in Bexley will include models from popular builders Cardel Homes, David Weekley Homes and Homes by WestBay.

Parade visitors can tour Cardel Homes’ Henley and Savannah models. The two-story, four-bedroom Henley provides more than 3,900 square-feet of living space, while the four-bedroom Savannah floor plan features three baths and more than 3,300 square feet of living space in a single-story design. Both models have three-car garages and have been newly decorated.

David Weekley’s Stonebrook model is a two-story home with four bedrooms, 3.5 baths and a rear entry two-car garage. This popular builder’s newly designed Tangelo floor plan features four bedrooms and 3.5 baths in a single-story home with just over 3,000 square feet.

The Sandpiper and Cypress models from Homes by WestBay offer stately four-bedroom and two to 2.5-bathroom floor plans. The one-story Sandpiper provides just over 2,000 square feet and a two-car garage, while the Cypress is a two-story floor plan with more than 2,700 square feet.

As one of Pasco County’s premier master-planned communities, homeowners at Bexley have access to a wide range of amenities and activities.

The central hub of the community is The Bexley Club. This lakeside clubhouse is a popular meeting place for residents and the surrounding community. Many come in to enjoy great food at the Twisted Sprocket Café, which serves breakfast, gourmet lunches, desserts, smoothies, wine, craft beer and coffee drinks.

Next door to the clubhouse, Suncoast Trailside Bicycles sells a variety of bikes, including mountain and electric bikes, gear and clothing. The shop also offers repairs. If you’re looking to cycle around the community or hit the Bexley BMX pump track, you’ll find everything you need at this one-stop shop.

In addition to two resort-style pools and a fitness center, residents also enjoy miles of multi-surface Avid™ trails, ideal for walking, biking, jogging and strollers. Fit Stations located along the trails add fun and variety to workouts.

Want to know what it’s like to live at Bexley? Sign up for the “Resident for a Day” program, which lets prospective homebuyers utilize many of the community’s amenities to get a true feel for what it’s like to live there.

“We love giving people an opportunity to experience life in Bexley firsthand. The Resident for a Day program gives prospective buyers an opportunity to enjoy the amenities, talk with residents, and see for themselves why so many families have chosen to make Bexley their home,” said Parisi.

Bexley’s Parade of Home models are open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., on Friday and Saturday, and 12 p.m. to 6 p.m., on Sunday. A guide to the models is available onsite at The Bexley Club, or download a copy at TampaBayParadeOfHomes.com.

The 2019 Tampa Bay Parade of Homes, hosted by the Tampa Bay Builders Association (TBBA), takes place over the next two weekends — March 1 to March 3 and March 8 to March 10. This is one of the largest Parades in Florida, with 93 model homes representing 40 builders at locations throughout Pasco, Hillsborough and Pinellas Counties.

The Parade of Homes is a hands-on way to see the latest in floor plans, interior designs and architecture styles of the area’s most prominent builders and developers. There is no cost or appointment needed to tour Parade homes.

Included in today’s Laker/Lutz News is a 12-page Parade of Homes Guidebook, which gives detailed maps pinpointing the location of each Parade home. In Pasco and south Hernando counties, there are 40 homes to tour, and in north Hillsborough County, 12 homes.

You can create a self-guided map of homes you want to tour at the Parade’s website, TampaBayParadeOfHomes.com. You can also view individual model homes online by builder, as well as entries from custom builders and remodelers.

Choose The Best Cardel Homes Community For You

February 27, 2019 By Special to The Laker/Lutz News

Cardel Homes is one of few builders to offer buyers communities of all sizes and price points — from move-up developments like Bexley with its many active living amenities, to those like the Enclave at Lake Padgett and Oakwood Reserve with acre lots, pristine privacy and luxury custom features.

Here is a quick look at communities where Cardel Homes is building that are attracting buyers from Pasco and north Hillsborough counties.

“It’s almost unheard of to find new home construction on Lake Padgett,” said Brian Phillips, vice president of sales and marketing at Cardel Homes. “We have eight large homesites remaining — all very private and perfect for families wanting a waterfront home with no CDD fees.”

Cardel Homes is offering three one-story plans at the Enclave, all with tile roofs and brick paver driveways as standard features. The Henley, Wesley and Savannah plans range from 3,000 to 3,308 square feet, and offer four bedrooms, three or four baths and three-car garages.

If your family is looking for a new home now, the St. Lucia model home is ready for a quick move-in. This stunning home is 3,336 square feet with 12-foot ceilings, white cabinetry, quartz countertops, wood-plank tile and tray ceilings in the foyer, bonus room and master bedroom.

The four-bedroom, three-bath home is on a wooded lot with a large front porch and covered lanai. An oversized dock is perfect to dock a boat and enjoy the natural backyard setting.

“Living in the Enclave is the best of both worlds — all the recreation that Lake Padgett offers in a private oasis setting, and the convenience of Land O’ Lakes’ central location and top-rated schools,” said Phillips.

This rural community has lots ranging from 1 to 1.55 acres with magnificent mature trees. Two homesites have already been sold, and an inventory home is under construction and will be ready in May.

“Our first two buyers are young professionals who love the location and wanted a small community with no CDD or HOA fees,” said Phillips.

Homes in Oakwood Reserve begin at $447,90, and range from 2,507 to 3,393 square feet. All have four to five bedrooms, three to four baths and three-car garages.

Bexley
Cardel is being showcased in this year’s Parade of Homes over the next two weekends with two model homes in Bexley — a master-planned community being developed by Newland Homes along the State Road 54 corridor in Land O’ Lakes.

Parade visitors will be touring the Henley and Savannah models. The two-story, four-bedroom Henley provides more than 3,900 square feet of living space, while the four-bedroom Savannah floor plan features three baths and more than 3,300 square feet of living space in a single-story design. Both models have three-car garages and have been newly decorated.

Bexley is known for its pools, parks and trail system designed for active family living. It encompasses 1,200 acres of preserved wilderness and 13 miles of breathtaking trails that connect to the renowned Suncoast Trail.

Sandhill Ridge
Located across the street from FishHawk Ranch in south Hillsborough County is Sandhill Ridge — one of Cardel Homes’ newest communities.

This private, gated community of just 33 Cardel homes is selling quickly because of the affordability of its large family homes and its A-rated schools. Prices begin in the high $200s for homes that range from 2,010 and 3,132 square feet.

“We have already sold nine homes in Sandhill Ridge, and anticipate that this community will sell out quickly,” said Phillips. “The land is beautiful, with a canopy of oak and pine trees, and people want to live in a quiet community like this with no CDD fees.”

Cardel Homes’ models are open Mondays through Saturday between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m., and Sundays from noon to 6 p.m. Visit CardelHomes.com/Tampa, or call (860) 501-4429.

Discover Your Dream Community With Cardel Homes

January 23, 2019 By Special to The Laker/Lutz News

If your New Year’s dream is to build a new home on a beautiful conservation lot in a small, private community with no CDD fees, Cardel Homes gives you two exceptional choices.

The first is Oakwood Reserve in Lutz on Clement Road, located just 10 minutes from USF and 25 minutes to downtown Tampa. Clement Road is one of Lutz’s most idyllic rural roads, tucked between Livingston Avenue and Hannah Road. This unique community has magnificent, mature trees and will be home to just eight families, with lots ranging from 1 to 1.55 acres.

The Enclave at Lake Padgett is a secluded, gated community of just eight Cardel homesites off U.S. 41 in Land O’ Lakes.

Land O’ Lakes is home to another unique Cardel Homes community—the Enclave at Lake Padgett. This secluded, gated community of just eight Cardel homesites has convenient access off Land O’ Lakes Boulevard (U.S. 41), just two miles north of State Road 54.

All homes in the Enclave will back on to a natural lagoon that flows into Lake Padgett, and can be permitted for docks that are large enough for fishing, waterski or pontoon boats.

“It’s almost unheard of to find new home construction on Lake Padgett,” said Brian Phillips, vice president of sales and marketing at Cardel Homes. “This is an incredible opportunity for families wanting waterfront living on one of Pasco’s largest lakes known for fabulous water skiing and excellent fishing.”

Home prices begin in the low $500s at both Oakwood Reserve and the Enclave at Lake Padgett. Because of the limited number of lots available, Phillips expects both communities to sell out quickly.

One home site at Oakwood Reserve has already been sold, and an inventory home is being built on a second site, leaving only six remaining homesites in this unique community.

This inventory home will be a 3,939-square-foot Henley model, with 5 bedrooms, 4 baths and a 3-car garage. Features and upgrades include a 26 x 23 great room with 12-foot ceiling, 16-foot sliding glass doors that open to an extended covered lanai, upgraded kitchen cabinetry, quartz countertops, upgraded wood plank tile, tray ceiling in the master bedroom and foyer, coffered ceiling in the master bathroom, mosaic master shower floor tile, and an upper level with a large bonus room and fifth bedroom.

Priced in the low $700s, Oakwood Reserve’s inventory home will be ready this Spring for a family looking to move, before the start of the 2019-2020 school year.

Minimum homes sizes in Oakwood Reserve begin at 2,507 square feet, and at 3,000 square feet in the Enclave at Lake Padgett. The Henley plan is available in both communities, and is Cardel’s largest and most popular floorplan.

“The Henley offers our biggest great room and bonus room,” said Phillips. “At almost 4,000 square feet, it’s a lot of house for the money, and one of the best values we offer.”

For those wanting to build their home and select their options, interior colors and finishes, Cardel Homes is currently offering a 50 percent discount at its design center, up to $50,000.

“This is one of our most generous discounts ever, and we’re excited to be offering it to welcome in the New Year,” said Phillips.

Cardel also has an inventory home at the Enclave at Lake Padgett — the elegant one-story St. Lucia, which is 3,336 square feet with 4 bedrooms, 3 baths and a 3-car garage.

This one-story beauty boasts 12-foot ceilings, a den off the entry, formal dining room with coffered ceiling, expansive great room, huge bonus room and a master suite with a sitting area and private lanai at the back of the house. Interior features include white cabinetry, quartz countertops, wood-plank tile throughout and tray ceilings in the foyer, bonus room and master bedroom.

The home sits on a private wooded lot, and features a large front porch and covered lanai in the back. An oversized dock is just steps away from the backyard, and is perfect to dock a boat and enjoy the natural waterfront view. This fabulous inventory home, including its waterfront dock, is selling for $679,000.

“This St. Lucia is the best of both worlds,” said Phillips “You can enjoy all the recreation that Lake Padgett has to offer, without the boat noise and traffic directly in your backyard.”

The unique communities of Oakwood Reserve and the Enclave at Lake Padgett offer families the most desired locations in suburban Tampa. Residents can enjoy beautiful conservation and waterfront views, acre-plus homesites and privacy in exclusive communities without CDDs. Be sure to call Cardel Homes to make an appointment to tour these communities before its best kept secrets are gone.

Cardel Homes Expands at Bexley

December 26, 2018 By Special to The Laker/Lutz News

New models and large homesites
Choosing the right home and community are two of the biggest decisions you’ll make when buying a new home. Not only do you want you a community that gives your family plenty of ways to enjoy a wide range of activities and amenities, you’ll also want a builder whose floorplans and home features meet your family’s needs and exceeds your quality expectations. You’ll find this perfect combination with a new home built by Cardel Homes in Bexley.

This master-planned community developed by Newland Communities in

Land O’ Lakes is located north of State Road 54 at the Suncoast Parkway — a prime location that is convenient to many areas of Tampa Bay. Bexley is known for its unique amenities, excellent schools and preserved wilderness with 13 miles of planned hiking and biking trails.

Cardel Homes is one of several builders in Bexley, and has been in the community since it opened in the Fall of 2016.

“We have been one of Bexley’s most successful builders, selling all but our model home during its first phase, and recently moving to Bexley’s second phase with two new models,” said Brian Phillips, Vice President of sales and marketing at Cardel Homes.

Cardel Homes is one of Bexley’s premium builders and offers buyers some of the community’s largest homesites, many with pristine conservation views. Its homes are built on 70-foot lots, with sizes ranging from 2,507 to 3,939 square feet, and prices beginning in the $390,000s.

“Our homes offer, as standard, many exclusive features that other builders sell as upgrades,” said Phillips. “This means dollar for dollar, you get more with Cardel Homes because we put the most popular features that buyers want in the base price of our homes.”

“We give our buyers many selections to choose from, including 11 different styles of cabinets, 20 flooring options and 12 countertop choices,” said Jeffrey Lorenzo, who heads up Cardel’s sales at Bexley. “Our buyers love that they have so many choices in the base pricing, which means they typically spend less at the design center than they would with other builders.”

Customers also appreciate Cardel’s flexibility and ability to make changes.“I listen closely to what my buyers want and work closely with them all the way through the buying process,” said Lorenzo. “Because we are flexible, we are able to make changes that many national builders are not able to do.”

Another unique feature that Cardel offers is its large selection of one-story floorplans.“Families of all ages prefer living in a one-story home,” said Phillips, who adds that 90 percent of the homes Cardel sells are one-story floor plans.  “We have refined our one-story plans to meet the demands and desires of families of all sizes —couples with school-aged children, empty nesters wanting a beautiful home to entertain, and retirees looking to build their dream home to spend their retirement years.”

One of Cardel’s models at Bexley is the Henley, a new floorplan the company designed for families who love to entertain and want very open living spaces.

“The Henley offers our biggest great room and biggest bonus room,” said Phillips. “At almost 4,000 square feet, it’s a lot of house for the money, and one of the best values we offer.”

The Henley model features five bedrooms and four bathrooms with a 26 x 23 great room and 20.4 x 28 great room. Cardel’s other model home, the Savannah, is a versatile four-bedroom, three-bathroom home with 3,308 square feet. Both homes have three-car garages.

Cardel’s phase one Bexley model home is currently for sale fully-furnished at the reduced price of $749,990. “This home has over $200,000 in upgrades, and is a tremendous value for a family wanting to move now,” said Phillips.

Visit Cardel Homes at Bexley, Mondays through Saturday between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m., and Sundays from noon to 6 p.m.

Every Cardel home comes with these standard features:
– Granite or quartz countertops in the kitchen and bathrooms
– Kitchen island countertop that extends 18 inches to accommodate seating
– 42-inch, level-3 maple cabinetry with crown molding and brushed nickel hardware
– Whirlpool appliance package, including a French door refrigerator
– Tankless hot water heater
– Four, 16-foot panel glass doors to a covered lanai that collapse into each other and push all the way back to the wall
– Premium windows that open easily from the inside for cleaning
