State-scheduled technology upgrades in Tallahassee are prompting the temporary closure of all Pasco County Tax Collector Offices, from 5 p.m., on May 20 until 8:30 a.m., on May 23.
The closure specifically affects the New Port Richey and Wesley Chapel locations, which are normally open on Saturdays. It also affects online services, which will not be available during the shutdown, either, according to a news release from Tax Collector Mike Fasano’s office.
“We regret any inconvenience this state-level upgrade may cause,” Fasano said, in the release.
“If you have date-sensitive transactions to perform, I encourage you to come in to one of our five offices as soon as possible to complete them. Please do not wait until the last minute,” he said.
“Since these services come out of Tallahassee, there is nothing we can do at the local level to override this upgrade,” Fasano added.
If you have any questions or need any additional information about the upgrade and/or office closure, contact the call center at 727-847-8032, 813-235-6076 or 352-521-4338.
