The “Tampa Bay Black Heritage Festival” will run Jan. 14 through Jan. 23. The festival will include family friendly arts, culture and musical events. Other events include a 5K Walk/Run for Health, a Heritage Gala, a Heritage Leadership Luncheon, a golf tournament, Heritage Youth Night, Heritage Gospel Night, and a financial seminar and lecture series. There also will be a Music Fest at Curtis Hixon Waterfront Park, 600 N. Ashley Drive in Tampa, on Jan. 16 and Jan. 17. Many of the events are free, but require preregistration.
