The annual Old Timer’s Picnic will take place on Oct. 8 in the Clayton Building at the Pasco County Fairgrounds. Food will be served at noon. Guests should bring a covered dish to share, along with their own table service. Ice tea and lemonade will be provided. Anyone who has lived in Pasco County for more than 20 years is considered an “old timer.” Guests are encouraged to bring old photos, newspaper clippings and items of interest for Pasco County families. There will be a short business meeting to elect officers to the Old Timer’s Picnic Association. Prizes will be awarded to the oldest man, the oldest woman, the couple married the longest, and the person who traveled the greatest distance to attend.
