The Pioneer Florida Museum & Village, 15602 Pioneer Museum Road in Dade City, will host a Scarecrow Festival on Oct. 8 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. There will be a great pumpkin drop at 1 p.m. Guests can make their own scarecrow. There also will be vendors, Touch A Truck, a petting zoo, carnival games, a bounce house and slide, face painting, a pumpkin patch, a pumpkin toss and barrel train rides. Mr. Tommy will entertain at 10:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. No pets (except service animals), coolers, food or beverages allowed. Admission is $5. Children age 5 and younger are free.
