Starkey Ranch, 2500 Heart Pine Ave., in Odessa, will host a “Food Truck Rally” Oct. 10 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. The event also will include a deejay, carnival games, balloon artists, face painting, contests and prizes, bounce houses, family chalk art challenge, and the Feeding Tampa Bay food truck. Guests are asked to bring a canned good donation for the community’s food banks.
On Oct. 17, there will be a “Doggie Day,” with partner SPCA Suncoast, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., for the grand opening of two new dog parks, Woof-Field Park and Barker Park.
