Grace Lutheran Church, 3714 W. Linebaugh Ave., in Tampa, will host a seminar on quilting called “Little Treasures from Granny’s Attic” on Oct. 17 at 2:15 p.m. The guest speaker will be Brenda Grampsas, certified appraiser of quilts and quilted textiles by the American Quilter’s Society. Admission is free. Verbal appraisals are $20, and written appraisals are $45. There also will be a raffle, and proceeds will benefit Grace Quilters. Refreshments will be served.
