A presentation of the pros and cons on “Fracking in Florida” will take place Oct. 22 at 6:30 p.m., at the Dade City Garden Club, 13630 Fifth St. Fracking is short for hydraulic fracturing to target rock formations to release oil or natural gas. The guest speaker will be Ray Bellamy, retired physician and Surgery Clerkship director at the Tallahassee Regional Campus of Florida State University’s College of Medicine. Refreshments will be served. Admission is free.
