12/04/2015 – Waterfront park tree lighting

Tampa’s tree lighting ceremony will take place at Curtis Hixon Waterfront Park, 600 N. Ashley Drive, on Dec. 4 at 6 p.m. There will be music by Late Night Brass and a “Secret Santa Giveaway.” After the tree lighting, there will be a movie. Admission is free, but guests are asked to donate a teddy bear to the annual Rough Riders Teddy Bear Drive. Guests can bring blankets, low-back chairs, coolers and dogs on leashes. No glass or alcohol will be allowed. Concessions will be available. There also will be a Santa Fest Parade and Festival on Dec. 5. The parade starts at 11 a.m., and the festival is from noon to 4 p.m
