UF/IFAS Extension Hillsborough County will offer a free “Compost Happens” workshop on Oct. 1 at 11 a.m., at the Old Lutz School, 18819 U.S. 41. The workshop will include a presentation, information packet, and a compost bin and thermometer for each participating household. Love One Another is an outreach ministry that serves a hot meal to those in need every Sunday from 1:30 p.m. to 3 p.m., rain or shine, Christmas or Easter.
