The Lutz Branch Library, 101 W. Lutz Lake Fern Road, will host a Doctor Who event on Sept. 24 at 3 p.m., for ages 10 and older. All five Gulfside Hospice thrift shops will collect toiletry items for homeless and at-risk veterans until Sept. 23. Travel-size toiletries are preferred. Items needs include personal care items, anti-bacterial hand wipes or gel, deodorant, shampoo, soap, toothbrushes and toothpaste, flashlights, batteries, reading glasses and more.
