Tampa’s Horror Weekend, “Bay of Blood,” will take place Sept. 23 from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m., Sept. 24 from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., and Sept. 25 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., at Holiday Inn Tampa Westshore in downtown Tampa. All five Gulfside Hospice thrift shops will collect toiletry items for homeless and at-risk veterans until Sept. 23. Travel-size toiletries are preferred. Items needs include personal care items, anti-bacterial hand wipes or gel, deodorant, shampoo, soap, toothbrushes and toothpaste, flashlights, batteries, reading glasses and more.
