Peer-to-Peer program
NAMI (National Alliance on Mental Illness) Hernando will offer its free 10-week Peer-to-Peer educational program beginning on July 13 from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., at the NAMI Beautiful Mind Center, 10554 Spring Hill Drive in Spring Hill.
The learning program is for people living with a serious mental illness who are interested in establishing and maintaining their wellness and recovery. Topics will include how to prevent relapse, how to improve quality of life, coping skills, exercises to calm thinking, skills for working with providers and the public, and how to protect your interests.

Stress reduction

‘Fed Up’ documentary
The Florida Hospital Zephyrhills CREATION Health Wellness Center, 38233 Daughtery Road, will show the 2014 documentary “Fed Up,” narrated by Katie Couric, that gives viewers insight as to what can pack on the pounds.
