Military families free at MOSI
The Museum of Science & Industry, 4801 E. Fowler Ave., is offering free admission to all active-duty members of the United States military and their families, until Sept. 5. Service members need ID and can bring up to five family members. Military members do not need to be present for their families to visit. The free admission program is available to any bearer of a DD Form 1173 ID card, a Geneva Convention common access card, or a DD Form 1173-1 ID card. 06/14/2016 – Inaugural flag raising
The Shops at Wiregrass, in Wesley Chapel, will host an Inaugural Flag Raising Celebration on June 14 as a formal dedication of its newly constructed flag pole. The pole will be permanently located on Piazza Avenue, at the valet circle near the restaurants.
The ceremony will start at 7 p.m., and will include the Presentation of Colors by the Wesley Chapel Honor Guard, the Pledge of Allegiance, and the singing of the National Anthem by Eric Johnson. Pasco County Commissioner Mike Moore will call for the raising of the inaugural flag.
Medical outreach
The Samaritan Project and First Church of the Nazarene will host a Medical Outreach event on June 8 from 9 a.m. to noon, at 6151 12th St., in Zephyrhills. Seniors needed for memory performance classes
The University of South Florida Research Study PRO#19415 is looking for adults ages 60 to 80 for a study on the impact of piano training on cognitive performance and psychosocial well-being in older adults. USF has received support from the National Endowment for the Arts to provide seniors with free piano lessons or computer brain training to examine the effects on memory performance.
Classes meet twice a week for 90 minutes. The next training session will start Aug. 1. All materials, training and parking are free to participants.

Maternity suites grand opening
The Maternity Suites at Oak Hill Hospital will host a grand opening celebration on June 4 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., on the third floor, North Tower, 11375 Cortez Blvd., in Brooksville.
