The Deaf and Hard of Hearing organization and the Sertoma Speech & Hearing Foundation will host a water safety class for deaf and hard of hearing children on June 4 from 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m., at the New Port Richey Recreation and Aquatic Center, 6640 Van Buren St. The class is especially formatted for children with hearing challenges and is offered for free. The Pasco County Extension Office will offer a free seminar on pet-friendly plants on June 4 from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m., at Clayton Hall at the Pasco County Fairgrounds, 36702 State Road 52 in Dade City.
