The 27th annual Will McLean Music Festival will take place March 11, March 12 and March 13 at the Sertoma Youth Ranch in Brooksville. The event will feature more than 70 Florida acoustic musicians, and will honor Margaret Longhill, 94, of Dunnellon, who has inspired hundreds of musicians to find their voices. There also will be workshop sessions including fingerstyle, flatpick and slide guitar, banjo, fiddle, flute, harmonica, autoharp, dulcimer, mandolin, yodeling, harmony singing, percussion, and songwriting. Wesley Chapel Noon Rotary has joined forces with Dress for Success to collect gently used clothing and accessories for women trying to enter the work force or who already are with limited resources. The club will be collecting clothing, shoes, accessories and purses at the Land O’ Lakes Spring Music Festival & Expo on March 11 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., and March 12 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. You do not need to attend the concert or expo to drop off items.
