The 19th annual “Moonlight and Ivory” concert sponsored by the Heritage Arts Center Association will take place Feb. 6 at the Dade City Woman’s Club, 37922 Palm Ave. The matinee will start at 2 p.m., followed by the art show. Doors for the evening performance open at 7 p.m., for the art exhibition, with the concert starting at 7:30 p.m. Tickets can be purchased at The Greater Dade City Chamber of Commerce, American Eagle Outfitters in Dade City, or online at HeritageArts.org. The cost is $15 for the matinee, and $25 for the evening show. Proceeds fund the arts in the area, including two annual scholarships. The Pasco County Extension Office will host “Wake Up Your Landscape from Winter’s Nap” on Feb. 6 from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m., in Clayton Hall at the Pasco County Fairgrounds, 36702 State Road 52 in Dade City. Participants can learn when to prune cold damaged plants, what type of fertilizer to apply, and how much water to add to turn a sleeping landscape into a colorful oasis. Sensory friendly films at Cobb
Grove 16 Cobb Theatres, 6333 Wesley Grove Blvd., in Wesley Chapel, will show sensory friendly family films where kids can be kids in a safe and accepting environment. The auditoriums are made more comfortable with brighter lights, and the sound level is turned down. The audience is encouraged to be themselves and interact with the movie, while having fun without the worry of disturbing others. Guests can sing and dance during the movies. All shows begin at 10 a.m.

The Florida State Fair Authority will host the 2016 Florida State Fair Diversity Community Leaders Wall of Fame ceremony on Feb. 6 at 10 a.m., at the Waterfront Café, close to the Expo Hall at 4800 U.S. 301 N in Tampa. The Pioneer Florida Museum & Village, 15602 Pioneer Museum Road in Dade City, will host the annual “Farm Festival and Quilt Show” on Feb. 6 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., and Feb. 7 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. There will be a “Southern Draft Horse Pulling Competition” on Feb. 6 at 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. There also will be a show of dolls, quilts and clothing, local quilters on display, a quilts and supplies sale, quilt appraisal and trunk show, arts and crafts, vendors and children’s activities.
