Historic Dade City Holiday Celebration LLC will light up Dade City with a drive-thru luminary display Dec. 21, Dec. 22 and Dec. 23 from 6:30 p.m. to 9 p.m., on Meridian Avenue from 10th Street to 15th Street, as well as Magnolia, Robinson and Beauchamp Avenues between 11th Street and 14th Street. Santa Claus will visit with children in his sleigh on 13th Street, between Magnolia and Robinson Avenues, on those nights, from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. There will be more than 3,500 luminaries. Skydive City, 4241 Sky Dive Lane in Zephyrhills, will host its annual “Christmas Boogie” from Dec. 19 to Jan. 3. The event includes daily sunrise to sunset skydiving, multiple airplanes, formation flights, night jumps, and a New Year’s Eve party with midnight jumps and a fireworks display. There will be a Poker Run on Dec. 19 to benefit children at Centennial Middle School in Dade City. The run will begin and end at Rolando’s Cigar Lounge, 37945 Meridian Ave., in Dade City.
