Florida Hospital Zephyrhills, 7050 Gall Blvd., will host its annual tree lighting on Dec. 6. Children can visit with Santa from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. Refreshments will be available. Local musicians and artists will perform. The program featuring recording artist Jeremy Rosado will begin at 5:30 p.m., and will include the Florida Hospital Zephyrhills Chorale, and students from Helen’s Baton and Dance Studio in Zephyrhills. Tampa’s tree lighting ceremony will take place at Curtis Hixon Waterfront Park, 600 N. Ashley Drive, on Dec. 4 at 6 p.m. There will be music by Late Night Brass and a “Secret Santa Giveaway.” After the tree lighting, there will be a movie. Admission is free, but guests are asked to donate a teddy bear to the annual Rough Riders Teddy Bear Drive. Guests can bring blankets, low-back chairs, coolers and dogs on leashes.
