11/14/2015 – Mark Smith benefit

San Ann Liquor & Lounge will host a benefit for Mark Smith, a lifelong resident of San Antonio diagnosed with bile duct cancer, on Nov. 14. The fundraiser will start with a golf tournament at 8 a.m. ($50 per player), at the Abbey Golf Course, followed by a noon barbeque chicken dinner for $5, a cornhole tournament at 2 p.m. ($25 per two-person team), and a firearm raffle and live auction at 6 p.m. There also will be $1 drafts, live music, giveaways, a silent auction and a 50-50 drawing. 11/14/2015 – Pancake breakfast to benefit food pantry

Atonement Lutheran Church, 29617 State Road 54 in Wesley Chapel, will host its annual “SOS Pancake Breakfast,” Nov. 14 from 8 a.m. to noon, to benefit the Helping Hands Pantry of Atonement. The food pantry feeds 250 to 300 families a week. The cost is $5; kids younger than age 5 are free. There also will be local vendors and crafts. For information, call the church at (813) 973-2211.

11/14/2015 – Neighborhood cleanup

The City of Zephyrhills will have a neighborhood cleanup on Nov. 14 from 8 a.m. to noon at the corner of Seventh Street and 14th Avenue. Participants should look for signs. No hazardous items will be accepted. Dumpsters will be located at 12th Avenue and Seventh Street. For information, call (813) 780-0202.

The annual Lighthouse Crafters “Arts & Crafts Fair” will take place Nov. 14 from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., at Southport Springs Golf & Country Club, located on Chancey Road, one mile East of Morris Bridge Road, in Zephyrhills. There will be vendors with Christmas decorations, jewelry, fabric, pottery, woodcraft and more. There also will be a bake sale and a Chinese auction. For information, email Dave Brown at .

Keep Pasco Beautiful and Pasco County will host the first “Pasco Upcycle Festival” on Nov. 14 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., at Little Everglades Ranch, 17951 Hamilton Road in Dade City. The festival will feature numerous upcycle vendors, including makers of pallet furniture and jewelry from recycled household items. Vendors also will sell homemade soaps, pepper jellies and more. 11/14/2015 – Holiday food giveaway

Congressman Gus Bilirakis, State Sen. Wilton Simpson, State Rep. Richard Corcoran and State Rep. Danny Burgess will host the “Farm Share Holiday Food Giveaway” Nov. 14 from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m., at the Dade City Business Center, 15000 Citrus Country Drive in Dade City. Families who currently qualify for or receive government assistance can get free fresh food. Programs whose participants qualify include Free and Reduced School Lunch, food and housing assistance, and Medicaid and Social Security. Families that are not currently participating in the programs but who are experiencing financial hardship are also invited.

Symphony in Lights starts Nov. 14

The Shops at Wiregrass, 28211 Paseo Drive in Wesley Chapel, will debut an all new “Symphony in Lights” on Nov. 14 from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. From then on, shows and snow will take place nightly through Dec. 31 on the hour, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Shows at 6 p.m. and 8 p.m., will feature the Trans-Siberian Orchestra, and shows at 7 p.m. and 9 p.m., will feature holiday favorites. There also will be live music by Late Night Brass, strolling carolers, costumed characters, face painting, balloon artists and more. There will be fireworks on opening night.
