CHRONIC PAIN PROGRAM
Regional Medical Center Bayonet Point will host the Chronic Pain Self-Management Program developed by Stanford University. The program is designed for people who have a primary or secondary diagnosis of chronic pain such as neck, shoulder and back pain, fibromyalgia, whiplash injuries, repetitive strain injury, pelvic pain, post-surgical pain and others. Topics covered will include techniques to deal with problems of frustration, fatigue, isolation and poor sleep, as well as exercises, use of medications, nutrition and more.
