American Balloons and Tampa North Flight Center will host the Festival of Flight Sept. 11 to Sept. 13 at the flight center, at 4241 Birdsong Blvd., in Lutz. There will be hot air balloons, planes, kites, helicopters, live music, tethered balloon rides, a specialty car show, vendors and more. On Sept. 11, there will be an evening balloon glow. The Market Place will begin another season Sept. 5 at Hibiscus Park in Dade City. The new hours are 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Guests can visit vendors with products such as honey, homemade bread, home décor, garden accessories, jewelry, plants, fresh produce, homemade soaps and more. There will be chalk-painting demonstrations throughout the day. The park is located at Seventh Street and Bougainvillea Avenue, and is pet friendly. Admission is free.
