The annual Suncoast Credit Union Back to School Fair will be Aug. 8 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., at Westshore Plaza, 250 Wetshore Plaza in Tampa. The first 500 kids at the credit union booth will receive a free backpack filled with school supplies and goodies. The Hair Cuttery salons will be donating back-to-school haircuts for children in need this month. Through Aug. 15, for every child up to age 18 who purchases a haircut at one of the salons, one free haircut certificate will be donated to an underprivileged child in the same community.
