CHATTERBOXES GROUP

The Medical Center of Trinity, 9330 State Road 54, will host a Chatterboxes meeting for individuals with communication deficits July 9 at 3 p.m. The group assists individuals suffering from communication deficits as a result of a cerebral vascular accident or other neurological disorders. MEDICARE SEMINAR

The Florida Department of Elder Affairs’ SHINE program will present a Medicare seminar July 11 from 10 a.m. to noon, at the Land O’ Lakes Library, 2818 Collier Parkway. A representative from the program will be available to answer questions, and provide information on the basics of Medicare and prescription drug plan options. ROAST & TOAST FUNDRAISER

The Sertoma Speech & Hearing Foundation of Florida will host a Roast & Toast for its retiring executive director, Craig McCart, on July 11 from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m., at Spartan Manor, 6121 Massachusetts Ave., in New Port Richey. Tickets are $35 per person, or $65 per couple. HEALTH AND COMMUNITY EXPO

Feria Tampa Bay is an event featuring local businesses and professionals educating the community on current medical and health topics. The expo will be July 11 starting at 10 a.m., at River Ridge Golf Club, 11022 Tee Time Circle in New Port Richey. There will be games, prizes, food and music. Admission is free. LIVING WILL TUTORIAL

Regional Medical Center Bayonet Point will host a Tuesday Tutorial called Living Will & Health Care Surrogate on July 14. Community members and local personalities will read the novel “To Kill a Mockingbird” aloud July 13 from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., in anticipation of the release of Harper Lee’s lost novel “Go Set a Watchman” on July 14.

Minions Fun
Guests can become a certified Minion and attend Villain-Con at Minions Fun on July 17 at 7 p.m. There will be activities and giveaways. Space is limited.

Star Wars Saturday
There will be activities, trivia, exclusive products and a chance to win a Star Wars character standee at Star Wars Saturday on July 18 at 10:30 a.m. Guests must be age 13 or older to enter contest for standee.

The special limited-time ticket includes a one-time visit to both attractions at a discount of 25 percent off the full price. Adult combo tickets are $39.95, and children ages 3 to 11 are $29.95.
