INJURY PREVENTION TUTORIAL

Regional Medical Center Bayonet Point will host a Tuesday Tutorial on Injury Prevention: How Not to be a Statistic on May 12 at noon at the Rao Musunuru MD Conference Center at 14100 Yosemite Drive in Hudson. Joseph Mastandrea will discuss falls, bike safety and distracted driving. A complimentary lunch will be served. For information and reservations, call (727) 869-3498.

BREAST CANCER SUPPORT GROUP

Oak Hill Hospital offers an Afternoon Tea With the Ladies every second Tuesday of the month at 3:30 p.m., in the hospital’s cafeteria, 11375 Cortez Blvd., in Spring Hill, for those newly diagnosed with breast cancer. The group aims to educate, empower and inspire patients and survivors. The next meeting is May 12. For information, call Cheryl Whitman at (352) 597-6130.

BREAST CANCER GROUP

Florida Cancer Affiliates, 3611 Little Road in Trinity, will host a breast cancer support group meeting on May 7 at 6 p.m. The session is open to breast cancer survivors and anyone who has been affected by breast cancer can attend, not just current patients. Light refreshments will be served. For information, call (727) 236-0302.

SMOKING CESSATION

Oak Hill Hospital, 11375 Cortez Blvd., in Brooksville, will offer the Tools to Quit seminar for tobacco users on May 7 at 4 p.m. Those attending can set a quit date, make a plan, and work through simple steps to quit. PASCO COUNTY HISTORICAL SOCIETY

The Pasco County Historical Society will meet May 15 at 7 p.m., at Pioneer Florida Museum & Village, 15602 Pioneer Museum Road in Dade City. MOTHER & SON GAME NIGHT

Pasco County Parks and Recreation will host a Mother & Son Game Night May 15 at the Land O’ Lakes Recreation Complex, 3032 Collier Parkway. The event is for moms and their children ages 4 to 12.
