LADIES’ NIGHT OUT

The Center for Women’s Health at Florida Hospital Wesley Chapel, 2700 Healing Way, will host a Ladies’ Night Out April 9 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Guests can meet the staff, get chair massages, hand and arm massages, and have refreshments. There also will be door prizes and giveaways, and a photo booth. Admission is free. For information, call (813) 929-5555.

GULFSIDE ORIENTATION

Gulfside Hospice will host an orientation for East Pasco volunteers April 10 from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., at Gulfside’s Center for Hospice Care, 5760 Dean Dairy Road in Zephyrhills. HEALTH FAIR/5K APRIL 11

The Pasco County Health Fair and 5K run/walk will take place April 11 at Sunlake High School, 3023 Sunlake Blvd., in Land O’ Lakes. Proceeds from the 5K will be used to provide scholarship funds for Pasco County students seeking higher education in the nutrition or health care fields.

The run begins at 7:30 a.m., followed by a 1-Mile fun run at 8:30 a.m. There will be children’s activities and games, door prizes for visiting vendor booths, and a food show where students and parents can sample and rate foods to be considered for next year’s school menu.

PLANT SOCIETY MEETING

The Nature Coast Chapter of the Florida Native Plant Society will meet April 14 at 7 p.m., at the Land O’ Lakes Community Center, 5401 Land O’ Lakes Blvd. Paul Trunk will present “Dragonflies of West Central Florida.” Light refreshments will be served. For information, call (727) 207-1853.

ZEPHYRHILLS ART CLUB

The Zephyrhills Art Club will meet April 14 at 7 p.m., at First Christian Church, 6040 Eighth St., in Zephyrhills. There will be a member mini show of paintings during the meeting featuring a garden scene theme. Guests can learn about art classes, workshops and field trips. Refreshments will be served.

SAINT LEO CONCERT

Just the FACTS, the faculty-staff chorus of Saint Leo University, will present its annual concert April 14 at 5 p.m., in the Greenfelder-Denlinger Boardrooms of the Student Community Center. SMART DRIVER CLASSES

The AARP Smart Driver class for drivers older than 50 will be offered at the Land O’ Lakes Library, 2818 Collier Parkway, on April 14. For information, call Bev Cogdill at (813) 907-3908.
