HEALTH FAIR/5K APRIL 11
The Pasco County Health Fair and 5K run/walk will take place April 11 at Sunlake High School, 3023 Sunlake Blvd., in Land O’ Lakes. Proceeds from the 5K will be used to provide scholarship funds for Pasco County students seeking higher education in the nutrition or health care fields.
The run begins at 7:30 a.m., followed by a 1-Mile fun run at 8:30 a.m. There will be children’s activities and games, door prizes for visiting vendor booths, and a food show where students and parents can sample and rate foods to be considered for next year’s school menu.
