Big Brothers Big Sisters of Tampa Bay launched its “100 Men in 100 Days” campaign to recruit more men to serve as mentors to young boys. The campaign ends Nov. 18. Volunteers are screened and trained before being matched with a child. “Bigs” are encouraged to make a 15-month commitment and can choose from a site-based or community-based program. The agency will host a variety of events throughout the community during the campaign, from after-work Happy Hours to a night at local sporting events. For a calendar, visit BBBSTampaBay.org.
