The USF Health Byrd Alzheimer’s Institute, 4001 E. Fletcher Ave., in Tampa, will host a “Brain Health Fair” Nov. 3 from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
The Department of Psychiatry Memory Disorders Clinic will offer free, confidential memory screenings and information about memory loss on Nov. 3 from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Reservations are required.
In addition to memory screenings, guests will have access to free health screenings, including blood pressure checks, medication reviews with a clinical pharmacist, and hearing screenings.
The USF Parkinson’s Disease and Movement Disorders Clinic also will offer free tremor screenings from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., by appointment only.
Free flu shots will be available from the USF Department of Internal Medicine, while supplies last.
The Byrd Institute also will offer CarFit vehicle checkups from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., to improve comfort and safety for senior citizen drivers.
