The Founders’ Day 5K race and 1-mile fun run will be March 7 at the Zephyrhills Depot Museum (Train Depot), 39110 South Ave., in Zephyrhills. Proceeds will benefit the Thomas Promise Foundation, which provides needy children with backpacks, food and school-related items. Early registration ends March 5. The cost to run the 5K is $25 and the 1-mile event is $20. Each goes up by $5 for same-day registration.
