The sixth annual “Narcotics Overdose Prevention and Education Task Force Candlelight Vigil” will be Oct. 29 from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m., at the Verizon Event Center, 8718 Trouble Creek Road in New Port Richey.
The evening will include remembrances of those who have died from substance related incidents in Pasco County. Guests can place photos of those lost to alcohol or drug overdose on a memorial wall during the vigil.
Community leaders also will discuss the issues of substance abuse facing Pasco County and how to get involved.
