Registration opens for Skyway 10K

October 19, 2021 By Kevin Weiss

The fifth annual Skyway 10K is scheduled to be held in person on March 6, in St. Petersburg.

Registration for the 2022 event will be based on a lottery process. Those wishing to run must register by Oct. 24 at 11:59 p.m.

Winners of the lottery will be notified by Oct. 28.

Price of general admission is $80 per person. There will be a total if 8,000 registration spots, with 7,500 of those spots designated as general admission, and the remaining 500 designated for VIP admission.

As in previous years, participants will need to arrive at Tropicana Field, 1 Tropicana Drive in St. Petersburg, the morning of the race, at the appropriate time for their bus wave and will be required to board designated buses to be transported to the south end of the Sunshine Skyway Bride, where they will exit and wait for the race to begin. After they finish the race, on the north side of the bridge, they will board buses to return to Tropicana Field.

All race participants will be required to arrive at Tropicana Field for busing. No exceptions will be made.

All proceeds from the event will benefit the Armed Forces Families Foundation, which helps fund infrastructure projects that help families of servicemen and servicewomen.

For more information about registration, visit Skyway10K.com.
