The Land O’ Lakes K-2 Battlehawks youth flag football team earned an invitation to the Under Armour Under the Lights state championships at the Tournament Sportsplex of Tampa Bay, in Tampa. The Battlehawks finished the winter season with an 8-1 mark and No. 13 state ranking, but suffered a 2-point loss in the single-elimination tournament on March 14.
