The East Pasco Family YMCA, 37301 Chapel Hill Loop in Zephyrhills, will offer free non-swimmer or beginner classes for children March 14 to March 17. Children can learn basic swimming skills to stay safe and build confidence in the water. Gulf View Square Mall, 9409 U.S. 19 in Port Richey, will offer a “Sensitive Bunny” photo experience for children with special needs on March 13 from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. The in-mall music will be turned off, the escalators stopped near the photo set, the lights will be dimmed, and the fountains will be shut down to reduce sensory triggers. The Choir of Grace Lutheran Church Carrollwood and the Benedictine Sisters of Florida will present a free concert on March 13 at 2 p.m., in the chapel of the Holy Name Monastery, 12138 Wichers Road in St. Leo. The theme will be “Peace I leave with you; My peace I give to You” (John 14:27). Donations will be accepted. Refreshments will be served after the concert.

The Tampa Bay Fossil Club will present its 29th annual FossilFest on March 12 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., and March 13 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., at the Florida State Fairgrounds. There will be displays, vendors, workshops, door prizes, kids’ games, silent auctions and raffles. For a small fee, kids can dig through a sand pit to recover fossils and keep what they find. The Temple Terrace Garden Club will host its spring market on March 12 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., at Woodmont Park, 405 Woodmont Ave., in Temple Terrace. The Women of Atonement Lutheran Church of Wesley Chapel will host its annual spring bazaar on March 12 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., at 29617 State Road 54 in Wesley Chapel. There will be vendors, spring plants, homemade crafts, gifts, and hamburgers, hot dogs and baked goods for sale.
