McDonald’s gives general manager a trip to World Cup

TAMPA – McDonald’s provided the general manager of its South Dale Mabry location with a VIP FIFA World Cup experience.

Brice Bulambo’s four-day experience included a stay at the Kimpton hotel, a boat ride around Manhattan, a trip to the One World Observatory and an opportunity to meet with McDonald’s employees around the world, including President and CEO Chris Kempczinski. He also got to take a photo with the FIFA World Cup Trophy.

“The energy in the stadium was unforgettable, but the absolute best part was getting to see and take a picture with the championship trophy – before the winning team even got their hands on it,” Bulambo said. “Meeting the international McDonald’s community made me realize how much the company genuinely cares about our customers and us.”

Bulambo was one of 45 employees worldwide to earn the honor.
