Cycling for Autism set for March 19

The Tampa Interbay Rotary Club will host the seventh annual Cycling for Autism event on March 19 at 8 a.m., at the Pasco Rotary Pavilion, 15325 Alric Pottberg Road in Spring Hill. Those interested can be a sponsor, enter a cycling team, ride as an individual, volunteer, or support a rider. There will be a 3-mile, 6-mile, 12-mile, 25-mile and 50-mile track. 10/10/2024 – The Moth comes to Tampa

WUSF has announced “The Moth,” a show that features a diverse lineup of guests telling their personal stories of adventure, struggle, redemption, creativity and more, will be coming to the Tampa Theatre, for a second time, at 711 N. Franklin St., on Oct. 10. Guests tell their stories on stage, without notes, in the long tradition of community gathering around the fire to share their experiences and their culture. Maxwell ready to serenade in Florida portion of tour

The soulful sounds of Maxwell have lingered on R&B and hip-hop playlists for more than 25 years. And Florida residents can hear those sounds live through The Serenade Tour. The three-time Grammy Award-winner will perform at the Hard Rock Live at Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Hollywood on Sept. 14 and at Amalie Arena in Tampa on Sept. 15. Maxwell has released five albums since his debut: “Maxwell's Urban Hang Suite” (1996), “Embrya” (1998), “Now” (2001), “BLACKsummers'night” (2009) and ““blackSUMMERS’night” (2016). His return to touring marks a reunion with Jazmine Sullivan, who joined him on his Maxwell 08 Tour. What’s Happening: Dude Dad coming to Tampa Theatre

Dude Dad coming to Tampa Theatre TAMPA – Tampa Theatre and AEG Presents welcome Taylor Calmus – AKA “Dude Dad” – for a stop on his On Thin Ice tour. Calmus is a Colorado-based video creator who has become a viral sensation through his comedy videos.
