PASCO COUNTY – Pasco County Fire Rescue celebrated the grand opening of Station 2 on Aug. 14.
Officials said the station expands Pasco County Fire Rescue’s ability to respond quickly and effectively to emergencies as the community continues to grow.
“Wesley Chapel deserves a fire station that matches its momentum, and Station 2 does exactly that,” Pasco Fire Chief Ryan Guynn said. “It positions our team to meet the community’s needs today while preparing us for the challenges of tomorrow.”
Located on Wesley Chapel Boulevard, the state-of-the-art station houses one engine, one rescue, one truck company and a fire investigator.
The station also features an innovative hot, warm and cold zone layout designed to reduce firefighter exposure to carcinogens and improve long-term health outcomes.
