PASCO COUNTY – Pasco County Government’s new Work Local Small Business Support Program is designed to help small businesses get started or expand with confidence.
The first initiative of this new program is the Small Business Concierge Service.
“By connecting early in the process to determine the most efficient path forward, we can help Pasco’s small business owners meet their goals and achieve long-term success,” said David Allen, assistant county administrator for development services.
Staff from Planning, Development and Economic Growth and Building Construction Services are providing one-on-one, personalized support to local small business owners. They’ll guide small businesses through the county’s development and permitting requirements and, in some cases, help save time and money along the way.
Small Business Concierge Service Benefits:
- Personalized review of commercial project proposal
- Dedicated liaison to navigate permitting process
- Designed to expedite permitting and identify potential cost-savings
- Created specifically for local businesses with 25 employees or less
Small businesses are encouraged to complete an intake form at https://pasco.rja.revize.com/forms/15249 or call Pasco County Customer Service at 727-847-2411. The county will follow up to schedule a one-on-one exploratory meeting.
