TAMPA – PulteGroup’s West Florida Division and the Children’s Home Network will host the 11th annual Building to Make Lives Better Charity Golf Tournament on Oct. 19 at Innisbrook Resort in Palm Harbor.
The tournament has raised millions over its first 10 years in support of Children’s Home Network, including $450,000 last year.
“Since 1892, our mission has been shared and advanced by those in our community who have a heart for service, and this partnership continues that tradition,” said Taylor Cheeseman, executive vice president at Children’s Home Network. “Every swing, sponsorship and contribution helps give children the tools and support they need to thrive through our foster care services and community support programs.”
PulteGroup supports Children’s Home Network’s mission of providing vital resources and opportunities to at-risk children and families throughout Tampa Bay.
“At PulteGroup, we believe building strong communities goes well beyond the homes we build,” said Sean Strickler, president of PulteGroup’s West Florida Division. “Joining forces with Children’s Home Network allows us to amplify the impact of our charity classic and put even more resources behind the children and families who need them most. Every sponsorship, volunteer hour and contribution helps make a difference.”
This year’s tournament features the biggest field in its history with 340 golfers scheduled to play on Innisbrook’s Copperhead, Island and South courses.
The day will begin with registration and player gift selection at Edinburgh Hall at 10:30 a.m., followed by lunch at 11 a.m., a shotgun start at 12:45 p.m. and an awards ceremony at 6 p.m.
Registration and sponsorship opportunities are available at childrenshomenetwork.org/golf.
